Year Twelve (Thirteen) briefing notes – for the week starting Mondau 14th July

finishlineAll,

The end of term is of course fast approaching, and I can promise you that staff are as tired as you are. Nevertheless it really important that we finish strongly. Three matters for the week ahead please.

1. There is a voluntary assembly at 1.20 in the Upper Sixth Common Room at 1.20 on Monday. This is to follow on from the excellent presentation that Sam Hunt from  SURF gave us about Rwanda. We want set up a charity working party from September to organise fund raising for Alvere and his family. GET INVOLVED.

2. Please keep pushing hard on your studies. I would also expect you to take something meaningful to read / be undertaking for your A Level studies over the long summer break. Please talk to your teachers about this.

3. Remember your target of having a post-Little Heath plan worked out by 23rd July please. Again, can I stress the importance of targeting work experience in the summer holidays.

Keep going,

Mr Kydd.
