University College Oxford produced a useful guide to help construct your personal statement: Final printout for personal statements It has an Oxbridge ‘slant’ to it but is equally useful for any application to any institution. You should try to come back with a first draft of your statement after the summer and give it to Mr Hand as soon as possible for feedback.
