We are writing to let you know about an exciting event that we are offering from the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences, here at the University of Reading. Due to an increasing number of requests from schools and sixth form colleges, we are inviting A-level Psychology students into the department to experience a ‘Taster Day’ related to studying Psychology at degree level. The event is also suitable for A-level students who do not currently study Psychology but would like to pursue this subject at University, for instance they study other science subjects.
Students will be able to visit the department and participate in a programme of interactive events, including mini-lectures from current researchers, experimental workshops, and question and answer sessions with our psychology undergraduate students. Our Taster Days aim to give students a flavour of what it might be like to study psychology (and/or language sciences) at degree level, whilst at the same time supporting them in their AS-level studies by sharing our cutting-edge research findings.
If you would like to attend this day, then please let Mr J know.
