Community Service
Year 12

Hopefully by now most Year 12 students will have had a good think about what they will do for their community service. Well done to those who have already signed up and put their community service on the sixth form common room board.
For those who haven’t yet signed up please make sure this is done by Friday 4th October.
Just to remind you
- Community service is expected to be a minimum of 1 hour a fortnight.
- It can take place inside of school or something suitable outside.
- Many subjects welcome yr12 students to support them teach younger year groups.
- Mr Linz and the SMILE team also would welcome volunteers.
- This is brilliant to add to your university application or a CV.
- Last year many students found it useful to talk about community service at interview for University or for employment.
