Responsibilities will include customer service, cash handling, merchandising and balloon deliveries for our balloon decor service.
Basic computer skills and internet knowledge would be an advantage.

Year 12 are back on Monday 15th June which is a week 1 on your original timetable. You will be expected to continue with all of your subjects until results day, no one will be able to drop a subject early. There are some key dates coming up and these include:
Tuesday 16th June – Welcome Back Assembly in Year 12 Common Room at 1.20pm (All to attend)
Wednesday 17th June – EPQ Launch in Year 12 Common Room at 1.20pm
Wednesday 17th June – Chlamydia Roadshow in Year 13 Common Room during whole of lunch. Get a free gift if you get tested!
Friday 26th June – Futures Day (Letter coming out soon)

The recruitment for Apprentices entirely depends on our team’s needs and whether we have the right support and framework available to give the best possible Apprentice experience. As part of the online application process you will be asked to upload a CV and answer a selection of screening questions.
First impressions are extremely important! A good CV full of relevant information is vital, don’t be afraid to put down achievements or experiences you feel may be relevant to your application. Here are some criteria that we look for in an application:

If you are selected for an interview for the Williams Apprentice Scheme, these usually commence around May/June, aiming for a start date in September.
The interview process follows the following format:
•First stage interview involves an afternoon at Williams, where you will complete a Maths test together with a written questionnaire. You will also have the opportunity to talk to some of our current apprentices.
•The second stage interview will involve a practical test and a competency based interview.

We have been notified that there are still some places at the University of Reading summer schools in various subjects. If your interested then please follow this link.
The summer schools will help you gain a further understanding of university life as well as develop subject knowledge. They will also look good on your UCAS application especially if you are thinking of going to Reading.
Some of the deadlines have passed but others are next Monday, so if you want to do it, fill out the application form asap. Mr J is more than happy to write the teachers comments.
