Closing Date For This Apprenticeship is Friday 12 June
Thank you for your interest in our Apprenticeship scheme. Here at Williams Grand Prix Engineering, our apprentices play an important part of our team and our future success.
The recruitment for Apprentices entirely depends on our team’s needs and whether we have the right support and framework available to give the best possible Apprentice experience. If we do, we open the apprentice recruitment programme during April/Easter holidays via our website:http://www.williamsf1.com/careers.
We only accept applications that come via our website as this enables potential candidates to be viewed in the most effective way by our network of hiring managers.
As part of the online application process you will be asked to upload a CV and answer a selection of screening questions.
First impressions are extremely important! A good CV full of relevant information is vital, don’t be afraid to put down achievements or experiences you feel may be relevant to your application. Here are some criteria that we look for in an application:
•5 GCSE’s A-C including Maths and English
•Experience of working with machine tools/woodwork (examples and photos on the CV would be good to showcase this)
•Examples of part-time work/hobbies/clubs
If you are selected for an interview for the Williams Apprentice Scheme, these usually commence around May/June, aiming for a start date in September.
The interview process follows the following format:
•First stage interview involves an afternoon at Williams, where you will complete a Maths test together with a written questionnaire. You will also have the opportunity to talk to some of our current apprentices.
•The second stage interview will involve a practical test and a competency based interview.
