Nearly all of you attended the library visits over the last 2 weeks and this should have kick started your research. It is so important to do some serious research over the summer. If you don’t, there is a strong likelihood that your project will not be very good or that you drop out. The most common reflection from students who have done the EPQ is ‘I wish I’d done more research earlier’.
Your EPQ course has, in effect, started. When you come back in September you should have started your log (see previous post for link). You should note what you have done and how your library visit went and also reflect on any conversations you have had with me, Mr Male, Ms Vignali or your teachers.
There will be a short meeting in the Upper 6th Common Room on Tuesday at break time. You will be given your EPQ student book, which you should use to help you over the summer.
You should also download these documents: Starting the EPQ EPQ schedule[1] EPQ_Timeline[1]
Your EPQ lesson will appear on your timtable as soon as you have given in the paperwork you will be given where you indicate which subject you are going to drop.
